We are roots. When grounded and nurtured, we flourish

Welcome

I'm so glad you're here.

You are not a problem to be solved.

You are a person with a history, a mind, a body, and a set of emotional patterns that make sense, even when they hurt.

My work sits at the intersection of:

Philosophy

Psychoanalysis

Compassionate Inquiry (trained with Dr. Gabor Maté)

This is a space to slow down, get curious, and understand yourself with depth, honesty, and compassion.

I work with adults from multicultural backgrounds,  people who live between cultures, languages, expectations, and versions of themselves.

If that’s you, you’re in the right place.

Let’s begin.

MY APPROACH

Clinical Philosophy

There’s no such thing as normal, only ideas we’ve inherited about how people “should” be. Clinical philosophy helps loosen those assumptions so you can understand your experience without forcing it into social norms.

Psychoanalytic Listening

Modern psychoanalysis isn’t about diagnosing or digging for pathology. It’s about noticing how traces of the past still shape the present, and listening to them with curiosity rather than judgment.

Compassionate Inquiry

Mind and body aren’t separate systems but one organism expressing itself in different languages. Together we slow down enough to notice what your body has been holding, how it protects you, and what it might be ready to release.

ABOUT ME

From an early age, I was drawn to mental health and to connecting deeply with others but traditional psychology didn't resonate with me. I wanted an approach that went beyond labels. After studying philosophy, I discovered applied philosophy, particularly clinical philosophy  created by Dr. Lucio Packter and worked in this field for several years.

Following my son’s birth, I took time away from practice before moving into psychoanalysis. Still, something felt incomplete. All of the intellectual work lacked a connection to the body. That’s when I found Dr. Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry.

Today, I bring together clinical philosophy, psychoanalysis, and Compassionate Inquiry in an approach rooted in:

• Philosophy
• Psychoanalysis
• Trauma-informed listening
• Multicultural experience

What I don’t do:
• Offer generic advice
• Diagnose or label
• Prescribe medication

What I do:
I listen to uncover the causes behind the symptoms

Together, we explore:
• Emotional patterns you repeat
• Inherited meanings and beliefs
• Outgrown survival strategies
• The stories you tell (or avoid)
• The logic behind your reactions

This work isn’t about perfection.
It’s about truthfulness with yourself, your history, and your inner world.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with adults who are:

multicultural or living abroad

navigating identity & belonging

emotionally overwhelmed or stuck in patterns

thoughtful, curious, introspective

carrying unresolved past experiences

seeking depth rather than quick fixes

ready to understand themselves honestly

This space welcomes:

Highly sensitive people

Third culture adults

Overthinkers

People who feel “too emotional” or “not emotional enough”

Those who grew up between cultures, expectations, or languages

If you want to understand yourself more deeply — not just cope, but truly know — this work is for you.

A Multicultural Lens

I specialize in working with internationally mobile adults:  people who belong everywhere and nowhere, who adapt brilliantly but sometimes lose their own voice along the way.

Here, your complexity is not “too much.”

It is the material we work with.
